About Dr Vinod Tyagi

Vinod is a Consultant Paediatrician with the East and North Herts NHS Trust and is also the named doctor for safeguarding Children and Adults at the Lister Hospital, supporting the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children throughout the Trust.   Vinod is also an undergraduate tutor and is involved in actively teaching and training junior doctors.

Vinod runs specialist epilepsy clinics for children with complex epilepsy in special needs schools and also addresses their complex neurodevelopmental needs.

Vinod has done postgraduate training at the London Deanery. During his Paediatric training, he has worked in internationally renowned institutions, including Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) King College Hospital, and St Mary’s Hospital (Imperial) where he gained a very broad experience in a wide range of neurology, complex neurodisability, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
