We offer several services to assist you with your new arrival. Such as neonatal care, newborn assessment, routine 6 week developmental examination.

Neonatal Care 

Once your baby is delivered at the Portland Hospital, the Paediatrician on duty will be contacted. He/She will undertake the initial newborn examination and check your baby daily, until discharged home.  Several of our Paediatricians provide neonatal care.

Newborn Assessments

Following discharge and as requested e.g. jaundice, umbilical hernia, tongue-tie and colic
