About Ruth Beets

Ruth has worked as a Specialist Nurse within the ADHD Service for East and North Herts Trust since 2009.  Ruth works alongside the Consultants and also runs her own Nurse Led Clinics for children and young people with ADHD.   As part of her role she liaises with schools and to observe children in school as part of their assessment.   Ruth is a member of the ADHD Nurse network and she regularly attends meetings to ensure she is following the most recent practice. Ruth is keen to give young people, parents and schools information about ADHD to help them to better understand the condition.

 
Ruth will be supporting our Neurodevelopmental Team, at Centennial Medical Centre and will be performing Qb checks and school observations, where necessary, as part of the diagnostic pathway for ADHD.   She will also be carry out ADHD medication reviews.
